This input plug provides a regulated 12 volt output (on pin 3 of the terminal strip) when a external votage source (minimum of 13.5 volts) from a remote device or battery is connected to pin 4 of the terminal strip. Pins 1 (gnd.) and 2 (signal in) function the same as a standard IPX plug.
