Many customers are still using Lakewood equipment which was purchased over 25 years ago, and in most cases can be still serviced today. Customers should note that memory batteries on  Lakewood Generation 1 Data Logger products Ultra-Logger series)  should be replaced every 3 to 5 years. It is recommended that memory batteries be Factory replaced. The age of a Lakewood Data Logger can be determined generally by the first two digits of its serial number.  Lakewood's Generation 2 Data Loggers (Nano-Logger series) do not have memory batteries for data retention and use non-volatile memory.
