The IP12VX input plug has the same input/output configuration as an IPX plug with the exception that it has an internal regulator which supplies 12 volts on terminal 4 (normally the B+ connector). The 12 volt regulator is powered from the internal auxiliary instrument battery when the plug is connected to a Lakewood Data Logger. Note that this regulator plug will only provide regulated 12 volts if the Data Logger (RX, Chart Pac or Data Pac) is powered from an AC adaptor or solar panel with a voltage greater than 13.5 volts. This input plug can be used with a 24 volt battery auxiliary instrument battery system.
